Verify a round

Before a round starts, Donut Spin publishes the SHA-256 commitment of a secret server seed. After the round settles, the server seed is revealed. Recomputing the commitment and HMAC lets you check that the committed seed was not changed after your bet.

Commit

The server creates a secret seed and publishes only its SHA-256 commitment before the outcome is requested.

Generate

The result stream is derived from HMAC-SHA256 using the server seed plus your client seed and round nonce.

Reveal

After settlement, the server seed is revealed so you can reproduce the same HMAC value yourself.

A matching commitment proves the revealed server seed is the one committed before settlement. A game is fully verifiable only when its outcome is also generated from this HMAC stream.
